Received the photos today, thankyou they’re fantastic! Really pleased with them and cant wait to frame them and get them on the wall (never thought I’d say that about a photo of me!).

I worked with Jim for many years at BBC Radio Northampton.  I found him a really lovely person, both as a colleague and a friend.  He went the extra mile for me and many of my colleagues.  Professionally, what Jim doesn’t know about broadcasting isn’t worth knowing, the same can be said about his deep knowledge of music of all kinds.  He deserves all the success in the world and I don’t think I’ve met a harder working journalist and broadcaster.

I’ve had the pleasure of attending a number of events hosted by Jim and am always hugely impressed with his professionalism and his ability to excite, enthuse, and manage a diverse crowd of people. Jim has a rare presence and can absolutely enthrall a room full of people – he’s certainly top of our list for event hosts, speakers, and all round fab people!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jim on a couple of occasions. Once at the ShropGeek event where he was compere (and brilliantly engaging he was too) and I was speaker and again at a comms expo in Telford. The thing I love about Jim is not just his enthusiasm for everything, but his complete belief in the goodness of people. I like that. The man’s brilliant!

Jim is an incredibly talented all-round communicator, and his expertise in radio and broadcast journalism makes him an engaging and inspiring speaker at events around the county. He’s also a tremendous photographer and takes fresh, fun-filled pictures that are brimming with personality. All-round top chap!

Jim is a great presenter – a really entertaining broadcaster who has a genuine curiousity about the stories his listeners have to tell him. I love the way he sets out into the communities he broadcasts to to meet people and the way he uses social media in really innovative ways to similar ends. It all adds up to some really compelling radio.

Jim is an excellent radio presenter. I was keen to sign him and he did not disappoint. I was particularly impressed by the fact that initally I could only offer him the early morning show (bit of a graveyard shift), but with thorough professionalism he presented the show with enthusiasm and invention.
It was not long before I moved him to our Mid Morning programme where he helped change the format and win new listeners to the show. In that role he achieved a Sony Nomination in a high quality field for Speech Broadcaster of the Year.
Jim loves radio…and it shows. I would not hesitate in taking him on to my team again.
